All are high quality components.

I recommend waiting and going for Ryzen 7 5800X 3D as that gonna be a better deal for you.

RTX 3070 Ti gonna pair well with 1440p monitor. And is the minimum requirement for it(in my book).

Limited it to 16GB Memory kit as you can add second 16GB kit over time to have a total of 32GB Memory if needed. Saved a bit of money for now taking that route.

That is Decently fast NVMe SSD. Not Gen 4 but is fast enough for Majority. Reliable as well.

I recommend that Monitor specifically for its Picture Quality which is the best in its price range. The best.

12700/12700F > 5800X

I said 5800X 3D not 5800X. I used it as a place holder.

And even 5800X ~ 12700/12700F specially at 1440p no difference.
You already push him over budget and want to add another $150 ?

With the gpu's used in these builds is this the bottleneck so all cpu's will be fine.

My view with windows included, take the peripherals with a grain of salt, use what you like, these have good reviews,

Can look for a RTX 3060 TI if you think that will be a better choice for your use case.

Edited for the psu.

If you wanted just one bigger ssd would this also be a good choice,

Dint want to cut corners and get him the best possible for around that budget.

It depends. If he wants to use this PC for long with no major upgrades and wants to have best possible experience. Then I do recommend spending a bit over to get better quality product.

For example that Monitor. I selected that specific Monitor as it has the Best Picture quality. Very good color accuracy out of the box even without calibration. Very high coverage of color space. Very good Black Uniformity for an IPS Panel. 10bit panel. All that is worth the expenditure. Similar to why we pick SONY TV even tough it is more expensive, because of its picture quality.

And also would pick up Corsair RMx 750 over Phanteks AMP 750 even if it costed bit more as it is a better unit. But it is actually costing below $100 so yes check that I think you missed looking at it.

Yeah just ~$330 over budget, that's fine if he has it.

I could have gone better i admit, like these,
https://pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/VgQG3C,mQDkcf,P7pmP6/
was abit focussed on 750watts which would be decent for the lowest price and read over the Superflower. The 750watt RMx isn't amongst these as you see, the 850watt is even cheaper.

The monitor i linked,
https://www.tomshardware.com/review...nitor-review-top-flight-performance-and-value
it misses extra's but delivers pretty good on what should be there for the price it costs.
