1600 mhz downgrade to 1333mhz

Hello,

I have a GA-G41M combo LGA 775 socket that supports 1333 mhz ram and i recently bought a Kingston HyperX fury 2x4 GB 1600 Mhz.But when i install the ram in my computer it won't boot up.Is it possible to downclock my ram to 1600 mhz to 1333mhz using the bios? If so then how?

The board would automatically downclock the ram to run it at the speed that it supports.
With that chipset being such an old one now, it is most likely that the RAM you are trying to use just is not compatible with the board.

Try clearing your CMOS

The Fury use high density memory chips and run off PnP, your mobo doesn't support either.
