1600MHz CL9 or 2133MHz C11

I am building a pc entirely for gaming, and want to know whether I should purchase faster memory with higher CAS values, or slower memory with tighter timings.

I was originally set on the 1600MHz with tight timings, but the following article has caused me to question this belief:http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/memory-bandwidth-scaling-trinity,3419-4.html

1600mhz with tighter timings is always better....say 7 or 8...any thing more will yield no significant performance benefit

Unless he's you an apu then it benefits greatly

You'll benefit from the higher bandwidth of the 2133 though a tighter 9 or 10 CL there would provide a bigger jump- purely performance wise they are are about equal with the 1600 at 9 and the 2133 at 11 (the 2133 (again) has a bit of an edge from wider bandwidth)

Thank you - I'll either go for the 1600 C9, or try and find tighter timings on the 2133 within my budget.
