Hello. I have two sticks of Kingston HyperX Fury 1866 DDR3 8GB (16gb in total) running in dual-channel without any issue. ( https://www.kingston.com/datasheets/HX318C10F_8.pdf ). The problem is that my motherboard and CPU support up to 1600Mhz but my memory ( even before I added another identical stick ) was/IS running at 1333Mhz. I don't think my Fury memory supports XMP because i I can't find it in BIOS but I know I can get it running at 1600Mhz by changing the timings myself but I'm not good at it. ( my brother also has a kit of 2x4 fury memory which are running at 1600Mhz, with a similar motherboard as mine H81M-K / H81M-C ). Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Solution
the bios screen show the ram being 1866 and running at 1600, CPUZ showing its running at 798.1*2 - 1596.2 (basically 1600)
I don't know what windows is telling you but my bet its wrong.

Load HWINFO and see what it calls it
Load Speccy and see what it calls it

if you have 5 programs other than windows teling you it 1600 . I point the finger at windows being wrong. for what ever reason.

ps: I run 1866 DDR3 RAM (verified in bios, on XMP profile, in 6 other programs, when I did your little windows command it states 1600. ) I don't trust "windows " to be accurate
you ram can do 1333-1866 Mhz. XMP is not automatic in most BIOS based board.
your H81M-K Motherboard specs : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81MK/specifications/ indicated clearly 2 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory ,

So it should be running at 1600mhz without a problem in theory. right ? let peek at the manual : http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/H81M-K/E8601_H81M-K.pdf

we find " Due toi llimitation memory higher than 1600 running in XMP mode will run @ 1600."

Jump to bios, and your main screen should look like this, in the middle is probably looks like this (the 1333 MHz) right ?

look in the menu for AI tweaker

should find (as the manual is rather short) a section for DRAM, and simple enabling XMP to auto.

Hello. Thanks for the answer. My BIOS actually shows 1600Mhz but as you can see in the pictures below, it's actually running at 1333.Although, my BIOS isn't updated ( version 1003, latest one being 3601 ) which is, i think, the reason I can't find the XMP option. Should I consider updating my BIOS to find the XMP profile ( and does my ram even support XMP ? ) Thanks!

Modules sold as singles are not intended to be combined, have no guarantee to be compatible together, and likely will not operate at rated specification when combined.
Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. If the modules are sold as singles, then that is the form they are guaranteed to work in.

@Calvin7 I had the 1333 problem before I even bought the second stick and they are running in dual-channel without any issue so I don't see why they would not run together at 1600.
My best bet is that I nee to update my BIOS, but I don't know much about it. I'll wait for your answers, thanks.

Why would cmd and task manager say 1333 though?

1st of all - Task Manager is lying to you. Your ram is working at 1600mhz not 1333mhz.

2nd - go into bios and set ram parameters manually.
1866mhz 13-11-10-29
If it boots normally, then reduce timings to
11-11-10-29,
10-11-10-29.
Stop , when system doesn't boot anymore and go back to previous settings.

If the bios says it runs 1600mhz than it does. Probably windows that doesn't read things right, maybe to do with what im saying next.

The Fury line doesn't have XMP,it relies on "PnP" which mean "Plug 'n Play". This makes the ram run at possible optimal settings, this is afaik regulated by those sticks themselves.
