1600mhz RAM at 1333mhz

Can someone tell me if I bought 8gb of corsair dominator 1600mhz RAM for an 1156 asus p7p55 deluxe motherboard and an i7 860 will the RAM work ok?

The reason I ask is that I dont plan on overclocking for a few weeks after buiding my pc as I want to see how the build is at standard but I still want the option to overclock.

Will there be any performance issues vs standard 1333mhz ram at normal settings/ratings or will the 1600mhz RAM just act as if it was 1333mhz??

non at all, you can also run the mem at it's rated speed if 1600 isn't xmp rating.

The memory is:
CMD8GX3M4A1600C8 - 8GB 4x2GB Corsair XMS3 Dominator DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 8, XMP, DHX.

It mentions xmp but unsure if that means it only supprts it?

Intel say that only 1333mhz maximum ram is supported though but I know the motherboard is good for it.

Also intel quote for the i7 860 `DDR3 I/O Voltage of 1.5 V` , the above memory is rated at 1.65v.
