1600mhz ram on a 1866 /1333/ 1066 mother?

ok im thinking on on buying a motherboard, the GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H and a ram memory, the CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3. the memory specs says that it runs at 1600Mhz and the motherboard specs say that it supports DDR3 1866 (OC)/1333/ 1066, not 1600, so i was wondering if its ok to run that memory at 1600 on that motherboard. PS: these two components are for a friend and he insisted that i buy that memory and that motherboard. Thank you veru much. Here are the links

You'll just need to manually set the BIOS to run the 1600 MHz DDR, and you'll be fine - 1600 will indeed run.

Set PCUe Spread Spectrum to {Disabled}
Set Memory Clock to {Manual} and {X8.00}

Set System Voltage Control to {Manual}
Set DRAM Voltage Control to {1.65 volts}
Set CPU NB VID Control to {1.35 volts}

Set your timings: 7-8-7-20
