So 16:9 vs 16:10? 2560x1440 vs 2560x1600, right? The additional vertical lines of resolutions are nice, but it is a minimal difference. Assuming both options are of the same high quality, go with which ever is cheaper...

Agreed, it is personal preference. If you game, some of them are more geared towards 16:9(because it became the universal standard for TV's I guess).

At some times the extra height may be nice when doing work, but again personal preference.
