1600x vs 2600x which is better???

so I was on pcpartpicker looking to build a new pc because I'm currently gaming on a crappy hp laptop and I saw the Ryzen 5 1600x and the Ryzen 5 2600x they both had 3.6 ghz clock speed and both 6 cores oh and I will get a 1070 ti or 1070 with either

The difference in performance between the 2600X and 1600X is about 10% higher performance for the 2600X. If the difference in cost is approximately 10-20% greater for the 2600X then it is worth it, more than that it isn't. However, if you are doing gaming you will get the performance of the 1800X in most games with the 2600X compared to the 1600X which was a good bit slower.

Typically the R5 2600 is the best deal.
