Hi all,
I am currently owning a gtx 660 Superclocked edition along with 1600x900 res on monitor, and now i got another monitor 1920x1080 which i am not 100% sure if i should replace it with the current one, as there might be some performances issues when it comes to gaming. Can anyone please tell me if i should change to 1920x1080 or stay where i am? I am into gaming alot and there are tons of upcoming games releasing soon. Thanks alot

Specs:

Solution
well 1600x900 is 1,440,000 pixels, and 1920x1080 is 2,073,600, so that's 600,000 more pixels it has to try to pump out each frame, so yes, performance is going to suffer with an older video card and only get worse with newer games. A new video card may be in store if you want to keep gaming at 1920.

Im now using 1920x1080 all i can say is its much better quality ofcourse although on far cry3 for example i had around 12 fps less than when i i was with 1600x600 which i had around 68 fps average. Im now having around 54 . but anyways far cry 3 depends mostly on gfx so..

Thanks guys for your response
