So I don’t have much detail because the issue started without much causing it. So I have this old PC I figured I’d throw some extra ram in. It already had 4 gigs between the two two gig sticks it had installed. I installed two more sticks one 1gb, and another 2gb of the same brand I know you’re not supposed to do that, but I wanted to see if it would work and I got the error 164- memory size error so I figured oh okay it is because I have a two gig and one gig stick so I took them out and stuck with the original four I had in it, and now I still get that error. I then decided to try to reset the ram just in case that didn’t work and I don’t know what could possibly be causing it now. Did me adding the two gig and one gig stick when I did ruin something? Is it just a coincidence that I got that error at this time?
