According to this link you need a 450w or greater 550w if you are using dual 1650xt`s in crossfire mode but I suppose it depends what other hardware you have installed aswell. I`m sorry I have not been overly helpfull but this is pretty much all I could find on this card sorry.

I also like the bit in the review from this link
http://www.custompc.co.uk/custompc/reviews/102990/asus-radeon-eax-1650xt.html

"The Asus EAX 1650XT is extremely loud - imagine a baby Chinook helicopter throwing a hissy fit. Quite why it needs to wail inordinately is a mystery"

Good find about the actual wattage consumption. I always like seeing real world figures.
our test rig consumed up to 230W playing games at full tilt
- about 19.5 amps.
What is your PSU's +12v rating ventar? Please specify more about your PC as it will help other help you.

No, get a new PSU. This is as dumb as the guy asking if his 200W PSU was enough for his 7600GT. Get what is recomended, and stop asking stupid questions. Sorry to sound a bit harsh, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

The forumz have been filled with complaints about the X1950pro, when most won't except the fact that their PSUs are insufficient.

When upgrading your GPU, you must take into account your PSU.
