165hz 1440p or 240hz 1080p monitor

hey i was wondering if i should get a 165hz 1440p monitor or a 240hz 1080p monitor i know people will say the 144hz one is better because it has an ips panel but it has 4ms response time so idk and the 240hz one is cheaper..

i know its not my thread/question but im in the SAME boat, should i get ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR or ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q. I already have two ASUS VG248QE. I play a lot of blops 4/fps, i'll defiantly play RD2 on pc along with other great solo games. Ill have a lot more questions to ask, here is my rig
