Hello all,
I just had a question about a monitor I'm looking at getting that runs at native 144Hz, but can be overclocked to 165Hz. This is the monitor I'm looking at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IOO4SGK?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
My question is that isn't there some weird stuff that happens when you use an overclock on a monitor when gaming? I watch a CS streamer named fl0m who was asked about that 300Hz monitor that was showed off a while back and he said that it's better to just buy a high refresh rate monitor than to buy one that's OC to a certain refresh cuz of some reason (I forgot his exact reasoning now lol). I was just wondering if that's true or if it's okay to play fps games with an OC'd monitor like the one I linked above. I play mainly fps games, but also racing games and sometimes rpg games like Elder Scrolls and Witcher 3. Thank you in advance!
