I have a 60hz MSI laptop and I get 180fps+ in fortnite
If I buy a 165 hz monitor and connect it to laptop will I feel 165 hz in monitor?

Assuming that you're running it at 1080p, it should work alright. It seems like 144Hz is the optimal / max refresh rate that 1080p could utilize on that card though, so 165 may or may not perform as well as you'd want.

I'd recommend a DisplayPort cable. Both your laptop and the new monitor will need a DisplayPort connection. If your laptop doesn't have one, it should have an HDMI port. You'd want an HDMI 2.0 cable for the highest possible connection quality, both now and down the road if you make any graphics upgrade.
