Hi,

Im installing a 1660 GPU which has little clearance between it and the PSU shroud below it.
The PSU fan faces down and vents out the bottom of the case so no problem there. But the shroud itself has no vent holes in the top. Will this hinder the GPU fans pulling in air? Or should the shroud have vent holes due to the small GPU clearance with the shroud?

Thanks

It's a bit difficult for me to picture....but what you can do is.....install the GPU...max it out (run it at 100% usage or as close as you can get)....and check the temp of the GPU. If it stays under 85C or so....I'd say it's acceptable.

PSUs don't have holes in the shroud because they aren't designed to function as an intake fan for the rest of your tower. The worse the airflow in your tower, the higher your GPU temperatures will be. Plan accordingly.
