Question 1660 or 1660ti for 4690K 4.4GHz

Currently I have GTX 770 and i5 4690K at 4.4GHz
Should I go for the Ti version or it would not make sense due to bottleneck?
Also Nvidia will be releasing Super versions of RTX lineup, should I wait for the 2060 to go down in price?
I was also looking at AMDs Navi lineup but bot are out of price range.


PS: What games do you think Nvidia will give to new buyers in the comming weeks/months? I bought GTX 770 and i got Watch Dogs. Now the are giving Fortnite bundle which I really dont care about.

Pretty sure some ppl run a Core i5-2500k with SLI 1080's so you should be fine go with the 1660Ti or 2060. the bottlenecking shouldn't be that bad I am sure in some games you will experience lower frames than others with the same GPU but it should do fine.

Really your monitor resolution is the key factor.

If at 1080p:
Anything much over a 1060 isnt going to provide much of a benefit thanks to your aging 4 core. I would go for the 1660 since you are overclocked.

Waiting for 2060 or purchasing the 1660ti is mostly wasted cash.

I will be plying at 1920x1200.
You two said really different things

4 threads isnt enough for many modern games so you will run into CPU limits with a modern mid-range card.

1920x1200 may help a bit, but there is still going to be a bottleneck.
