Question 1660 super performance issue

i just bought the new 1660 super and noticed that the performance are weird,
if i run CSGO with max details the GPU usage stays ok with 1920 Mhz, if i set the details in game lower the GPU usage and core clok drops drastically to 1530 Mhz, i tried to restore my pc but nothing changed.
MY BUILD;

i5 7400
1660 super
16GB RAM
500W power supply
(i had the 1550 ti before)
help me please thx

Lowering graphic quality will typically lower GPU and raise CPU usage especially in a heavy CPU game like CSGO.

What are you CPU usages at?

What PSU do you have exactly?

What resolution are you playing it?

Di you do a clean install of the drivers either using DDU or the clean installation option in the advanced menu for the Nvidia driver?

the cpu usage stay from 65 to 75% with max graphics details, when i put low details the cpu goes up to 80/85%
i have the cooler master masterlite 600W (not 500 like earlier mentioned)
i play 1080p and yes i did a clean install of the driver using DDU
