Question 1660ti or 2060?

Which one would be better with my system. Which one would be more valuable.
System specs:
I7 8700
Benq 60 hz 37 inch 1920x1080
Hp 20 inch 1600x900

What it comes down to then is cost. A 1660Ti can be had for $280 whereas the cheapest 2060 is $350. That means you pay 25% more for the 2060 but only get ~10-15% more performance.

Do you plan on using ray tracing in games at all? If yes then go for the 2060, if not then go with the 1660Ti since the added performance isn't worth the extra money in my opinion. Your system will be able to use either of them to their full potential.

What does ray tracing do?

With your primary monitor being 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, I would say: neither.

Save yourself some money and get the GTX 1660 non-Ti. That's more than capable for delivering 60fps at max details at 1920x1080 resolution.

RTX 2060 without blinking if you got the budget

Bru if you have the $350, go with RTX 2060. GTX 1660 Ti is basically a RTX 2060 minus the DXR and 15-20% performance loss. If you have a tighter budget or you think you could use the extra $50-60 elsewhere, you won't go wrong with the 1660 Ti either.

As said above, a 1660 Ti is plenty for 1080p/60fps.

I have an MSI GTX 1660 TI Armor 6G OC paired with a Ryzen 5 2600 OC'd to 3.95 GHz on a 60 Hz, 23 inch monitor and I love it.
I upgraded from a GTX 1060 which gave me 60 fps at 1080p on medium in current games.
With the 1660 Ti, I get 85 to 120 fps set at Ultra!!!
Game play is much smoother now than it was with the 1060 and being able to use Ultra settings definitely makes my games noticeably better looking.
