Question 16gb 2666mhz or 8gb 3200mhz?

anyways im looking just for overall system responsiveness, i dont think ill be doing 3d animation and that kind of stuff, so my question is which one should i get cause im undecided really.

If you want the 3200mhz then they will only run at the max speed the CPU supports which is at 2933mhz. You can use the full potential of 3200mhz if you upgrade to a CPU that supports it (I'm not forcing you to upgrade).

So get the 2666mhz 16gb as it is double storage and see if you can overclock it and it's fine if you dont because it's close enough to the max your CPU supports

This is not true, XMP makes it go to 3200 with NO problem.
The price difference between 2x8GB 2666 and 3200 is not much at all.
Get the 3200 and you WILL feel the difference
