16gb ddr4 ram vs 8gb ddr4 with Intel optane memory 16gb

So Linus tech tips recently posted a video about RAM+optane memory, it worked well in most situations except Adobe and other workloads. So I will be using my PC to watch videos and play video games, which do u think is the best option?

16gb work better than optane ones.

It depends on that how you want to use your pc.

If you are a gamers want to play only games. So go with 16gb ram. Because ram are faster than optane.

And if you use your pc for basic tasks and want to increase your pc speed so go with optane.

The Intel Optane memory module does not replace DRAM so, for example, if a game requires 8GB of DRAM, you can't use 4GB of DRAM and 16GB of Intel Optane memory to meet the game requirement. DRAM continues to be needed for regular PC functioning.

I think use 16gb ram and with 16gb optane. Thats great option.
