I would personally recommend The 2400Mhz G. Skill ram. The speed won't benefit you during gaming, if you're gaming. However programs and such open quickly and are very snappy.

well, thg just reviewed the performance of fast ram with both haswell and piledriver... turned out it didn't make a lick of difference. the same Mushkin Redline ddr3 1866 that won the last ram testing they did with ivybridge cpus won for both the piledriver and haswell testing as well, beating out ram clocked way faster.

seems haswell like ivybridge doesn't seem to notice fast ram even if it's able to use it.

Yes it does 'notice' and shows well in real world use, BMs simply run one thing and done, high freq DRAM shines when multi-tasking, and using apps that are memory centric like imaging, video, CAD, GIS< VMs, even browsing with lots of windows tabs open - and the Tridents are great sticks, have them in both my IB and my Haswell, have used them as primary for myself and client builds for over a year now
