Question 16GB installed on computer but only 8gb is being used...

I recently just upgraded my CPU, Ram, and Motherboard, and when i come to see the system information, it says '16.0 GB (7.95 GB usable)'
My specs are:
Motherboard:
Gigabyte B450 Aorus M AM4 mATX Motherboard
Ram:
Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) CMK16GX4M2A2666C16 DDR4 2666MHz Vengeance LPX DIMM Black
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 6-Core Socket AM4 3.6GHz CPU Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler
I know that both my ram sticks are working and the dim slots are too because when I checked my bios, it was recognizing the 16GB of RAM. Please help!!!!

Can you show screenshot from Resource Monitor memory section?
Also msconfig boot/advanced section.

You may need to update BIOS of your motherboard to latest version.

check your bios if the vram for the integrated graphics might have been set to 8gb

Also check the placement of your RAM and confirm it with the motherboard manual. Do not place them next to each other.
