I was looking to make a build for use as a file server and a renderer for vegas and 3d.(at the same time)

I am looking at either going for a dual Xeon build or just to go with an amd FX 8 core(just to save)

I am looking at this motherboard as it supports 64GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157358

but I cannot find ram to max it out that is compatible (I need 4 16GB sticks)

Would the cost also make it not worth it / should I just go for the Dual Xeon E5 build since I can go for any ram and have more slots?

EDIT: I only need this as I will be doing this for other people who have weaker systems or need to backup some stuff-
(The backup server would be semi-private for only people who meet the requirements, I may end up with up to a hundred of users if it is popular among this community)
And not all these people have powerful computers to push out high quality 3d animations (or it takes too long to render vegas files) up to 4k.

Ok, Ram looks good and will work with that motherboard, You'll actually see that each memory slot will only support a max of 8GB, But it does work with 64 but you can't put 64GB of ram in 4 slots. Same with an 8 Ram Slot LGA 2011 Board, some say it supports 128GB but 8 x 8GB is only 64 so you can't go up to 128GB. Yes you can put one Xeon CPU in now and another later, will work. But with intel going over 1600MHz is pointless as it doesn't improve performance at all, only with AMD it does. So with intel CPU's stay 1600MHz but with AMD go as high as the motherboard speed supports. You can get 3000MHz ram and even 4000MHz but that motherboard doesn't support that speed.
4 16GB sticks? Have you checked that each ram slot usually has a max compatibility of 8GB, internet is slow so not sure if the one you listed supports 16GB. I would go for the Dual Xeon E5 build instead of the AMD build, The Intel CPU's will do a better job though you mentioned save money, if money is tight then going for the FX 8 core will be fine. Having more ram slots with the Xeon would be better and you have a better selection of ram. Just make sure as said before, not all motherboard ram slots support 16GB, most of them will only support a max of 8 so if you put a 16GB module it won't work properly.

okay, according to the ASRock website it does support 64GB ram...maybe it's a future-proof thing? So peopl;e can upgrade the ram later when needed...

I am looking at a dual Xeon board right now and that has plenty of slots...Hmm...I can put in one right now and add another later, Right?
I am looking at this ram here: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-2400MHz-PC3-19200-KHX24C11T3K4-32X/dp/B00A771ZOQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1389420300&sr=1-3&keywords=HyperX+Beast+64+GB

I want to find the fastest ram possible to use with this board and these are pretty popular it seems-
