Chances are good that since you bought two disparate sets of RAM, they just don't want to play nice together. They could have different chip densities, voltages, latencies or simply not want to "play nice" together. This is not uncommon. This is why we recommend buying ALL modules that will be used at the same time and in a matched set. Try using only one pair in the two slots designated for dual channel operation and see if they work normally. Then try the other two. If both "sets" work without the other set installed, then it's probably a case of them not having been tested together for compatibility, or, it may simply be that your CPU and motherboard don't want to work with 4 modules installed. The AMD memory controllers are fickle sometimes, especially with memory speeds over 1600mhz when four modules are used.
Since 4 modules uses more power than 2 modules, there may be enough voltage drop that they need a slight bump in voltage too, but I wouldn't hope or expect that to 100% be likely.
