16GB ram but usable 7.95

So i was recently experiencing some lag then i noticed on task manager that my ram has only 8GB and when i look at the bottom, the hardware reserved is half (8GB).

Here's my rig:

  ■Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3
  ■G.Skill Flare X 16GB (2x8GB) 3200mhz
  ■Zotac GTX 1080

I tried everything like switching slots, cleaning the sticks and it didn't work. I also checked the bios and it says 16GB.

Checked on CPU-z & resource monitor and it sayts 16GB as well.

Btw, i'm already using 64 bit of windows 10.
Im afraid to by a new pair and same thing would happen. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I suggest you update BIOS to Version F23.

Install memory in the slots the manual recommends.

You may be limited to speeds of 2666MHz with a Ryzen 7 1700x unless you start overclocking the CPU.
