16GB Ram in a Toshiba Satellite L775-S7307

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew if it were possible to add 16gb of ram to a Satellite L775-S7307. The spec sheet says 8gb max, but this likely was due to the fact that 16gb kits may have not been readily available at the time the laptop came out. I ask this because I am going to be using this laptop for CAD, and the more RAM I can put in this laptop, the better.
Any help?

I am aware the spec sheets say that 8gb can be used max. The reason why I asked this question was that 16gb kits were not very common when this laptop came out, so they may have never been tested. I was wondering if anyone has successfully put 16gb of ram in a L775/P755 Satellite laptop.

i would not go over maker specs on ram system might not boot .

Nobody is really answering my question. I am asking whether or not someone has done it before, not if the spec sheets say that it is not supported. I am aware about what the spec sheets say, that 8gb ram is max, but it may be possible that 16gb does work, since the documents may have been outdated or they may not have tested 16gb ram in the laptop.

it is up to you to try but since this model came out with win 7 i doubght you could have 16 gi of ram working in .
