Hi everyone, I just very recently upgrade from 8GB ram to 16GB ram yet it is only saying 7.47GB usable, the BIOS is picking up that there is 16GB, any help would be much appreciated, I checked my motherboard does support 16GB
What is the specs of the memory which you have installed?
Go to Run > Msconfig > Boot > Advanced options > Uncheck 'maximum memory' . Apply OK. Also check if the memory which you have is under the list mentioned here - http://www.msi.com/support/mb/FM2-A55M-E33.html#support-mem . If it is not mentioned then the chances are that the issue is due to the memory which you are using. Trying installing a different a see if you face the same issue.

Which edition OS do you have? Win 7 64bit Home premium etc? Also what is the motherboard model name and number?

Make sure your BIOS is up-to date
Thank you sooo much, it was the maximum memory checked under the boot tab that was the issue!
