So I had this problem before and I thought it was the sticks itself so I replaced them with Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB / 1866MHZ / 1.5V / 9-10-9-27. Now after I edited this in the bios the computer would power on but it wouldnt post / go into the bios.

Anyone know the issue?
These are compatibable with the motherboard so I dont understand

I tried Slot 1 and 3 / slot 2 and 4 and nothing the only way that the computer would allow me to go into the bios is if I only use 1 stick or use 2 sticks together (Slot 3 and 4)

CPU: i7-4770K

Solution
Try the sticks in 1-2 or 3-4, if both sticks work in one set say 1-2 but not 3-4 they you may have a channel not being 'seen'. Oft times that happens when the CPU cooler is on too tight in a corner or side so the CPU isn't level in the socket and not getting full contact with all the pins, loosen the CPU cooler, then snug it back down, not overly tight, but snug in all 4 corners, then try 1-3 or 2-4 and see if all is picked up and running, if still problems, might pull CPU and chek for any bent/broken pins

WOW. That was the problem the CPU cooler was on too tight.
I removed it checked for any broken pins, none. So I put it back on not as tight and BOOM. It worked.
Thanks so much!
