16x to 16x riser with molex

i tried to google it but i failed to find answer so im here..,

im planning to build a custom case and buy a gtx 970., gigabyte xtreme gaming to be exact
i need to get a riser and the only available is 16x to 16x with 4 pin molex..

the videocard needs 2x 8pin connector from the psu..
do i need to plug in the 4pin molex when the 2-8pin is already connected to the psu???

Yes you do need to plug in the molex as well. It's to provide extra power to the slot.
