17" LCD Hunt-Q17/Solarism's LM-1730/Samsung/Hercul

ive been reading here, talking to ppl on irc, browsing web reviews etc...
Im looking for a 17" lcd for gaming and [-peep-] just like many of you... Hercules looks promising if it ever gets here(US), and the Hyundai q17 also seems to be the popular vote, despite limated reviews. I for one would rather have the hercules because it looks badass and would go well with my lainli, but the screen quality is my main concern.

Could be a promising alternative. So anyone got any opinions? im getting tired of waiting, my 21" sony trini has had it.

I've been in the LCD market since about May and am still waiting for THE one. I thought it would be the new Samsung 172x, but no. It sounds like the next Samsung 172x with a 12ms panel due out in January may be it, but I'm going to temper my enthusiasm.
