Hey guys,

I would really appreciate some feedback, advice, and suggestions on my new build. I have been out of the game for a while but I am building a system for my family friend. We live in Canada and the budget is up to $1700 CAD.

Final Total (after tax & shipping): $1700

Optional Graphics
EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB GDDR5 (https://goo.gl/pR2b0z) $155
EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 (https://goo.gl/cP8d7F) $180

The thing is, he does not play any games, does not have intensive graphic needs (picture/video editing) - at least at the moment. He basically browses the net, burns some discs, watches videos, Netflix, etc.) Why such a fast system then? He wants it to last for 5+ years without any upgrades, and for it to be lightning quick for his fast-clicking productivity needs. As long as it operates fast and is reliable.

I am already at the top of the budget without adding a dedicated graphics card, so is it really necessary to add one with the integrated Intel HD Graphics 630? I'm not sure how else to save, because I need high-quality long-lasting components! Maybe I can save a little somewhere else and get a less expensive (than the ones listed -- that I like the sound of!) graphics card?

In case you were wondering, there is no plans to overclock. I was going to use the stock Intel heatsink, unless someone suggests otherwise. I picked the 7700K so the motherboard could decide to throttle things up if needed. How's my reasoning?

Thanks very much!
Sean

Solution
Kaby Lake IGPU will definitely be enough for his needs, no need to buy any GPU now.
However B150 mobo needs BIOS upgrade before it can run Kaby LAke CPU. Plus it can't 'throttle things if needed', you need Z170 or Z270 for that.
K version CPUs come WITHOUT stock heatsink, so you'll need to buy one anyway.
