Hello,
I need some help with building a PC for architectural rendering and modeling in c4d/archicad, 3dsmax ... Vray, corona.
At the moment I have this build in mind: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/sQ9Ymq
Because it is a bit more expensive than I wish and the rendering is based on CPU, I thought I could switch the GPU to a EVGA – GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB SC GAMING Video Card ... or would that be a big mistake for a 200€ price differance?
Is the cooling sufficient or would you recommend anything else.
I was also deciding between the intel i7 8700K and ryzen 7 2700x CPUs.
I can only purchase on Amazon.de and would wish for the price to be around 1800€, but I will spend 2000€ on the build above if it will greatly improve the performance.

I would be very grateful for any comments or recommendations from somebody with more knowledge about this type of build.

Thank you
Greetings

Thank you for your answer/suggestion, but that's a bit too expensive (I'd like to have it at around 2000€ max). It all actually adds up to 2200€ (some prices aren't added in your link). And is there really a need for a 1050W PSU? Is there a big advantage with using liquid cooling?

Threadripper gets very hot, so you might want liquid cooling. The 1050 watt psu I would really recommend, since its at a price lower than others. We can make it a 750 watt if you want. Also, we can shorten the 4tb hard drive.
