My questions are,

- What do you think of this system.. ? Is it good choice for price & performance balance. ?
- Are the parts compatible?
- I am going to do o/c. Does the system good for it?
- Does the fan good enough to keep it cool?
- Can the system be good for 2-3 years.. Am i going to be able to play the games at max performance?
- If i want to upgrade the parts, will i be able to do it in the future?

Thats all, if you guys can help me out i'll be more than happy.

thanks.

All is compatible, looks good for overclock with that fan. It will last a while but can be kept up with upgrades.
Cooler Master PSU's are not the best although the unit you selected got favorable reviews and 1000watts is even overkill for 2 x GTX580 in SLI. 850watt would be enough and I suggest changing to Seasonic, Antec, Corsair or XFX.

what is the difference between ;

Western Digital WD5002AALX Caviar Black Hard Drive - 500GB, 3.5", SATA 6Gbps, 7200 RPM, 32MB / Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200rpm other then storage?

also what is a modular psu? what is the difference b/w modular psu and none modeler one?

Sorry guys, i am new to building computer. thats why i am curious :)

where are you buying from that you have tax. i suggest you buy a lot from amazon. and why_me they arent collecting taxes yet for california. they are still petitioning

@Why_Me yeah man i was checking out that topic ~~ while i was checking, a question mark appeared in my mind. if i get this system, would i be able to change new gen. intel cpu or new gen. video cards in the future?

@mjmjpfaff i am buying from Canada with Cad $ my friend.

you shouldve mentioned that in your original post...

Modular PSU has removable cables to devices (you only install the cables you need good for cable management) but a none modular has the cables fixed to the PSU. Samsung F3 is SATA II (3Gbps)

It is the newest generation so upgrading it in about 2 years should not be a problem, Intel has though the habit of changing CPU socket but some of the upcoming CPU's will be compatible.

i see,

one more question i want to ask, with this build, can i use 3d? is it gonna work with the 3d monitor? Also, if i want to get another gtx 580 in the future would 850w psu be enough? Also the motherboard is good enough for the sli?
