Question 1800x CPU throttling on games that use 2 cores like League of Legends

So, after an hour or 2 of playing league of legends, I've found out that Leagues optimization only allows it to utilize 2 cores or something. Thus my fps starts to stutter, and drop. I'm guessing it's cause it's overheating my CPU core 0 because when I changed it's affinity to different cores task manager the FPS went back to normal. I use HW monitor and it records to me normal temps but I'm guessing a single physical core is overheating while the rest are normal? Thoughts?. I'm just wondering if there's a fix or is there something wrong with my CPU overall? This only happens in League of legends
