1866Mhz Corsair Vengence Ram Only running at 722Mhz?

I had the ram in the wrong slots because my Cpu cooler was too big, Now i've installed the new, Smaller cooler and put the Ram into Duel channel but its still running At 722mhz?i've set it in the bios to 1896Mhz, 1866 was not an option for some reason, But Speccy and Cpu-z both says its running at 722mhz

It is either an XMP/AMP profile or manual settings in BIOS to get it to run at the max rated speed.

in your bios if it an intel mb turn on xmp profile under dram speed. if it an amd motherboard look in the mb guild for amd version of xmp profile.

Well, 722*2=1444 so I've got no idea what the problem might be. Try resetting the BIOS to its factory settins and then setting the RAM back to 1866.

Might look to see if your mobo has DOCP or EOCP and if so enable that and set to 1866 (what set of DRAM do you have?), else try setting freq manually to 1866, timings to spec, CR (command rate/timing) to 2N or 2T and raise DRAM voltage + 0.06 above spec and set CPU/NB voltage to 1.2 - AMD has weak MCs and often needs a voltage boost
