I have 8gb 1866mhz RAM stick and motherboard ASRock z97 anniversary that supports 3100 OC DDR3 RAM. Will my team damage if I put it on 3100mhz?

Solution
No.

The 3100Mhz OC is the maximum speed that RAM will theoretically run at. Standard DDR3 speeds are 1600Mhz. If the motherboard was running RAM faster than 1800Mhz in the past, you should reset the BIOS before adding the 1800Mhz RAM. If it's new, it should be fine.
