I'm deiciding to buy ram 8go 1866mhz kingston fury red (1x8go) but my compatible mainboard(asrok g41c-s) Suppot 1333mhz for maximum. I heared that the ram can work at less timing speed. Should i buy it or find 1333mhz ram which are not good for gaming

be careful though. had a GA-P55-US3L from gigabyte. installed hyperx fury blue and hyperx savage. didn't work, was stuck on a bootloop. i hope you can return just incase it doesn't work. i have cruical ballistix tactical 1333mhz now and it's working fine.

I do agree...you should always get the speed that is compatible with your system. But, if you already have 1866Mhz RAM, you can at least try it to see if it will work or not. No sense spending more money when what you have already (if that is the case) will work.

this ram can damage the mainboard ? or simply the computer wont to boot without getting damaged ?

your mainboard or your ram get damaged?

nah the ram was working on my friends PC. my mobo is also fine

by reducing the fury hyperx ram timings from 10-10-10-30 to 7-7-7-19 it will works fine right ?
