I am shopping around for a 19-inch FLAT monitor. I have the following choices:

1. Sony G400 (probably too expensive)
2. Samsung 900IFT
3. LG Flatron 915FT Plus
4. NEC FE950+

What would you get????

Either the LG or the NEC.

We have LG 17" monitor here with some problems.

I have a Philips 109P and perfect !
I can also suggest Viewsonic P95f.

Well, I have the NEC FE950+ and it's amazing. The quality is great!

I've seen all of them at stores and I can't visually distinguish the quality of one from the other. All the monitors you listed are excellent.

I recently noticed that there are 2 LG 19-inch monitors, 915 FT Plus and 995 FT. I know their specs are different but are they noticable differences? Finally, which one do you recommend?

Hiya.
Personally, I'd go with the LG Flatron 915FT Plus. It's a great unit. I don't know much about the others aside from the NEC which I did try. It was alright, but the two aperature grille lines (which the LG monitor does *not* have) annoyed me and I just could not get used to them. I think that's something that depends on the person though - some people are probably fine with them. (The model I tried also seemed to shut off and turn back on randomly, but that could have been an unsecure power plug or video cable - not sure, and it wasn't a major problem). I've been using the LG for a little while and have been quite pleased.

I'd go with the LG Flatron 915FT Plus too. Overall its a great monitor. I like the anti-glare and anti-static coatings. The images are bright and sharp. It has an USB hub at the back and the monitor meets TCO'99 requirements.
