I saw a flat KDS monitor today (not sure which model), and it looked REAL GOOD for the price. It was bundled with an eMachines Athlon XP computer.
There was nothing nearby of quality to compare it with, but by itself, it looked pretty nice.
Personally, though, I always buy the very best monitor I can afford because we are only given a single set of eyes... gotta take care of 'em! Not to say you need to spend more for better quality (sometimes that's true, and sometimes the opposite is true)... but it is worth comparing monitors side by side to see which one is of better quality (which can be difficult in today's retail environment).
