If you had to give a Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal to the following three 19" monitors for overall value, what would you give:

NEC FE950+
Samsung 900NF
Viewsonic PF790

Please, no French judges!
Thanks!

NEC, Viewsonic, Samsung.
In my eyes, the NEC and Viewsonic are pretty close.

oh, so Sony doesn't even contend for a metal ey? these olympics are biased, i threaten to walk out(like the rusians, lol).

repeat after me, we are all individuals!

I agree with reptile. If you omit the Sony, you don't want the truth.

I checked out the Samsung and Viewsonics. The samsung NF looked really nice, but I just received the PF90 Viewsonics from Gateway this week for $359 includinug 2 day shipping and I couldn't be happier with it. Sony? They are great but I can't see the price difference.

Smoke is an indication you may have exceeded the design limits.

You would have to SEE the Sony to see the difference. My wife's monitor is a Viewsonic
and it is also nice.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'm thinking about getting the NEC, and I can get it for about $50 less than the others which is great but makes me concerned that it may be missing something. Does anyone know why this monitor is cheaper compared to the others? (By the way does anyone know the difference, if any, between the FE950 and FE950+ ?)

The 950+ is newer and replaces the 950.

Alright Sony snobs, what do you think about the CPD-G400? I can get it for $300 which sounds like a great deal.
