So I strictly want a gaming rig, but not sure completely on how to approach everything.. I did my research and I am going with Intel and Nvidia Heres what I came up with for 1900$..

CASE: HAF 932 Case - $139
Coolermaster 120mm fan - $10

CPU: Intel i5-2500K - $229
Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler - $85

MOBO: Maximus Gene-Z Gene 3 - $189

RAM: Gskill Ripjaws X 1600mhz - $44

HD: Western Digital Black 1TB 64MB - $149

SSD: Crucial M4 64GB -$119

CD/DVD: Asus DVD writer -$24

GPU: EVGA GTX 580 Superclocked 1.5 GB - $529

PSU: Corsair AX750 - $179

OS: Windows 7 Home - $120

They put my whole system together for $60.. Since I have never built a PC before I will spend the money to get it done and my OS loaded..

NOTE: I do not need a mouse monitor or anything.. I run a 120hz LED monitor @ 1680x1050

Is there anything I should do different? Should I go the GTX 570 Superclocked and save $120? Or a Corsair TX850 since there $100 right now?? With the gtx 570 and tx850 I can get the PC for 1700 instead of 1900.. Suggestions would be great.. Thanks (I want to stay with Nvidia and Intel)

Highlights-
a very good looking and high airflow case.add the selected fans for cooler and quieter operations.
7950 is enough for 1080p and will do fine with your monitor.
XFX is a good brand.750w is enough for CFX
very fast 240GB SSD will do fine with your games and OS.
all the best.this is a really good setup.

total: $1516 after rebate excluding shipping....

first of all....

- for a sub $500 card you can get a pre-overclocked hd 7950 which is a little faster than gtx 580 even not by much... not to mention cheaper as well.... for 1080p this is very much recommended as it will handle all games out there with high details...

- paying $189 for a motherboard is abit much in my opinion... because there are cheaper alternatives that can do the job as well... i mean... with mild overclocking...

- 64gb for a ssd is just ain't gonna cut it... luckily 128gb can be had for $150 or cheaper... only extra $30 and double the capacity....

- for psu... although 750watts is enough for cfx... but be safe i recommend 950 watts assuming you're going to have two heavily overclocked cards... with oc cpu...

- for value this is absolute killer... that rosewill case can be had for $90 comes with alot of fan.. not to mention a removable drive cage....

- initially i would like to recommend the silverstone raven 3... take a look...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163185

but its looks abit.... not everyone will like it... but it is really a good case for air-cooling setup....

- unless you're going for very heavy overclock... otherwise a $30 cooler can cool the cpu as well...

^Asus is always considered as best mobo maker.if you can then why not Asus?
write speeds of that SSD are horrible.
PSU is simply overkill and wastage.7950 CFX+2500k OC will not not consume that much power.XFX unit's are efficient and reliable and cheaper too!
