1920 x 1200 monitors - TN or IPS?

Lately I've been considering a 1920 x 1200 monitor, at 24" in size roughly. However I've noticed that virtually all options for these types of monitors are drastically more expensive than their 1080p brethren. So I've been wondering; what gets more bang for buck in this instance? TN panels starting at ~£200 or IPS etc. panels at much higher premiums? I'll mainly be using the monitor for gaming, watching HD video and work in photoshop if it's any help.

I wouldnt go for the u2412m as it seems to be worse in response times and some other things than the u2410, just get that.

Yeah, the U2410 seems a good suggestion. I wasn't originally looking that high, but looking at the colour accuracy etc. for the price it seems brilliant. Thanks a lot for that!
