1920x1080 24 vs 27????

I currently have an LG 24'' 1920 x 1080p LCD monitor and I was thinking of getting an ASUS 27'' 1920 x 1080p LED monitor. My concern is that because its 27'', the resolution would not be as great. Is this worth an upgrade? Thanks!!!!!

yes it worths the upgrade, 27 still a good size for 1080p, maybe you will need to push it a little further from your eyes if you are used to play with the screen very close to your face, but yes it worths the upgrade.

Is the sharpness really bad on a 27 in if a 24 inch is also at 1920x1080????? Thats my concern. Is the pixel pitch really bad on a 27inch 1080p?

no it is good enough, like i have said, 27" 1080p is the biggest size for that resolution without losing significant sharpness, it will be good enough, and the increased size increase the immersivity it is indeed the best option to go with 27", i am using a 24" too and i wish i had an 27" 3D screen.

The two models you mention are very similar in specifications - they might even use the same panel internally (not sure, though - TFT Central's database isn't very specific about the panel for the Asus VE278Q, and doesn't list the Samsung S27B350). Unless there are other features you're interested in, I suggest you just buy whichever you can find cheapest. Also, have you considered a Samsung P2770FH?
