Hey Guys! I got a quick question.
I got a JVC 32inch screen TV plugged with HDMI into my computer. When I choose 1920x1080 screen resolution the edges are like cut off and the tool bars and things at the bottom.
My specs..
GPU: Radeon R7
CPU: Amd a10 7700k 4 core 3,4GHZ
Windows 10 Pro
*Im buying a new Gpu . Gigabyte gtx 760. Will that make a difference in the resolution ?
Or should I plug it with DVI?
Also it says recommended 1280x720 but the screen is sooo small.

Solution

enable & set the same scaling settings for both 50 & 60 htz modes at 1080p.
as in open resolution settings, change the refresh rate to 50htz ,apply, redo the scaling setting for 50htz
you can then swap back to 60htz .

Look for a setting called native mode turn that on, or something called overscan if its on turn it off. A lot of hdtv's are like this my toshiba 1080p HDTV cuts off the edges when connected to my pc as well, until I enable whats called native mode on my tv. Unfortunately I have encountered many a tv that dont have these settings at all, in that case nothing can be done to make the desktop fit the screen properly besides lowering the resolution but that will make the image blurry and less crisp.

I think I might have the same issue as you. Dont hink my TV has that :/

I have these setting on aspect ratio
Auto
4:3
16:9
Zoom
Subtitle
Smartzoom

1920x1080 is 16:9

Thanks It works! Another question. When i'm playing a game and put it to 1920x1080 its outside the screen again what do i do then?

In nvidia control panel there is an option called "override scaling mode set by games and programs" I would imagine there is an equivalent setting in the amd software, might be worded a bit different. Turn that on if you can find it.

I dont see anything like that :/ I guess Ill have to wait for my gtx 760 then

Some TV's also overscan by themselves. I had to do that on both of my Samsung and Sharp TV's. I had to go in their advanced display parameters. Nothing to change on my PC or Roku.

Good luck!

http://imgur.com/a/5bWUH Here is how my setting are In GPU and In-game. The ingame does not look like that , its because of the screenshot but where my level says '105' Its cut off to '05' and I cant see the whole right side.

I set it ingame to Windowed(fullscreen) And It is working. Is that how its ment to be or in just Fullscreen? It does not fit in fullscreen
