1934 net adapter

Hello,
how can I get a 1934 net adapter if I can't get online with my hp laptop?installed windows xp now it won't work.

I think you mean 1394 -- that's a firewire adapter, nothing to do with networking, whatever Windows may be claiming. You need a driver for your ethernet network adapter -- go to HP site and download the one for your model of laptop.
