1962: No operating system found Lenovo thinkstation s20

So after using this thinkstation computer as a freenas server, I cleaned all the hard drives and decided to install windows 10 on it again. However when I boot to windows 10 usb (it was first in boot order) it comes up with a black screen and a blinking underscore. I got an ssd from another computer with windows 10 on it and tried to boot that on my thinkstation, but I get error 1962: No operating system found. I cleared cmos but problem still remains. I feel like it's because the computer is looking for freenas os and doesnt recognize windows. The problem is definetly not sata cable or faulty ssd, I tested both on my other pc. How can i fix this?

just made a windows 10 usb with rufus, tested it on another computer and it worked. but when I try to boot from it on my thinkstation it goes to a black screen with a flashing white underscore; it's at the top of boot order i even unplugged other drives. Any ideas?
