[SOLVED] 197 F! Too hot. Don't know why it's getting so hot

I have a small laptop. link at the bottom.
I've had it since....Oct. or Nov. I think.

I've noticed that at least some of the time while in Sleep Mode it still runs hot enough that I can hear the fan(s).

So now I have HWMonitor running along with Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition (main menu only) and I'm seeing up to 197 F (92 C). I'm not a PC hardware guy but that's got to be too hot. And I suspect its getting close to that temp in sleep mode

laptop is a 2in1 and I have it in tent mode with a box fan blowing towards it. Also tried it in regular laptop mode with a good 1 inch or so off any surface(whoever designed this put the fan(s) blowing out the back and bottom).

If I have it bottom down on a surface I make sure the fans aren't covered at all

Any ideas on what might be going on? Or what else I can do.
I just ordered a laptop cooling pad so hopefully that will help.

Solution
Technically, theoretically--you should be fine as long as it doesn't pass 100°C for a long time.

While it isn't necessarily GOOD for the system at those temps, it's not inherently BAD for it, either. Just don't let the system stay that way for very extended periods of time. Occasionally shut it down and give it time to cool off.

Thanks. I'm thinking once I get the cooling pad I'll make sure to always use it when gaming and hope it helps.

As far as it heating up in sleep mode. Any ideas?
Do you keep it plugged in? It could honestly be a few things but I've noticed especially with smaller laptops that they tend to heat up a lot when you leave them plugged in and in sleep mode or even turned off. It might also not have anything to do with it.
