[SOLVED] 1991 Fuji film video recorder

Please help! We found my moms old video camera recorder it’s a handheld from 1991 and has all my baby videos. It’s a Fuji film video recorder and I wanted to know how we can play the videos on our TVs from this era (flat screens). Please help so my grandparents can see them. Thank you.

First I would recommend that you get a videos capture device and transfer those videos to a digital format (MP4). Then play those MP4 files on the TV. That video recorder won't last forever. Wow that’s an awesome idea!! I wish I would’ve thought of that before freaking out! I handle the recorder with so much care lol I feel like it’s a dinosaur. Thank you so much! It’s going to be hard since I have a Mac with no slot for dvd but I’m sure I can find an old laptop I might have. Again thank you!!!!

That does not have to save to a DVD.
It can record directly to the hard drive.

After that, you have many options. Save it to a USB stick, play direct from the Mac to a monitor or TV, whatever.
The primary thing is to get it OFF the tape and camcorder.

I've used similar in the past to excellent results.
