1GB vs 2GB (full system info)

I am looking to overclock this PC, run it on 1900x1200

memory, cpu, gpu

Do I need 2gb in the gpu ? The stock preformance seems to be the same. Does have 8GB of ram affect this ?

Any ill effects to overclocking for long periods of time that you have seen? (the gpu needs to be changed for something with better cooling possible saphire.)

vRAM temps are minimal compared to the GPU temp, so I would doubt any problems there. The reason to have 2GB of ram is if you are running games at high res (which you are borderline at), or if you are doing any type of production work with your card.
The 8GB of system ram will not change the performance as 4GB of system ram is still way more than enough for any game out there (unless you are multitasking like crazy). But games will continue to get bigger, so 8GB is probably a good call.
