I am looking for a system capable of transmitting data (It doesn't really matter if it works using wifi or any other solution) in a speed of minimum 1Mbit/s and range at least 1km. It should be working full radius (No dead angles).

Ubiquiti has some nice products but they are just too big for my use case (Dron sending video to my computer). Maybe the only one of their products that would be usable is Ubiquiti PicoStation, but its range is "just" 500 meters.

Right now I am using 3DR-Radio-Telemetry-kit-433MHZ, but its bitrate is only about 200 kbps.

Thanks for any recommendation!

is there a reason it needs to be done over old school radio? couldn't you connect to a cellular network (3G or 4G) vpn? The cost for this type of equipment is quite small, bandwidth is generally pretty good. If you could give more details that would be nice. ie, latency tolerance, geographical considerations, etc.

Although latency of 4G network is low enough (As I measured it the last time, it was under 30ms), there is basically no unlimited data package available from our network providers and also signal coverage of areas is not as continuous as I would like. We plan to pilot the dron using joystick, based on camera video from it.
